Yearlong Geometry & CC Math 8B Summer School Acceleration Nobel Students ONLY
Completed interest forms are due by June 1, 2024
- Original credit, virtual asynchronous opportunity for current 8th grade Algebra students to accelerate in math.
- Your student must have a mark of 'C' or better on the 10-week grade reporting to qualify to take the course.
- Submit one Google Form for your student if you want your student to enroll in Yearlong CC Geometry EDGL
- This course is an ACCELERATION point for your student.
- If your student does not complete the Yearlong CC Geometry course in the summer, the student must be enrolled in the Yearlong CC Geometry EDGL outside of the school day in the fall as well as programmed in CC Algebra 2A during the school day.
- The transcript will show that the course was taken at San Pedro Gifted STEAM Magnet High School.
CC Math 8B Virtual Math Acceleration
Summer 2024
- This is a Summer 2024 Virtual Acceleration Math Program for current 7th grade students.
- Your student must have a mark of 'B' or better on the 10-week grade in CC Math 7B reporting to qualify.
- Your student must complete 90% of the course with a passing grade by the end of summer to be eligible for enrollment in H ACC CC Algebra 1AB for the fall of 2024-2025 school year.
- Students who successfully pass H ACC CC Algebra 1AB with a ‘C’ or better in the fall 2024-2025 school year will be enrolled in Geometry AB in 9th grade and will still be required to take three years of math in high school.
- The transcript will show that the course was taken at Dodson Middle School.
